CONTEMPORARY REALISTIC FICTION

Realistic Fiction
Realistic Fiction is in which all events are possible due to what the character does, but doesn't happen everyday. An example is that a kid gets beat up because he resisted a gang of bullies. It can happen, but doesn't usually happen everyday.

Characteristics of realistic fiction:
  • you can be the character because the character does things a usual kid does Picture_for_Wikispace1.GIF
  • setting has to be real to project a realistic feeling
  • plot is almost like a routine
  • all characters need to have real characteristics
  • you can connect with it often
  • everything is possible but does NOT happen everyday
