Autobiography
What autobiographies are about:
Definition:
Text in which a person tells about his or her own life.
Characteristics:
They are about the author and a problem in their life that was memorable to them.
Autobiographies are all true stories about the author's life.
The main characters are usually the author.
There are little dialogue and usually solutions toward the end.
The author includes lots of details describing the thoughts and feelings in the moment.
All autobiographies are in first person usually with dates, pictures, and captions.
