inanimate (things that aren't alive, like a pencil)
objects may be able to talk.
Most of it can't happen in real life.
There's a problem and solution in the story.
There's a struggle between good(protagonists- good characters) and evil(antagonists- characters who do against the protagonists).
There's dialogue and sometimes thoughts.
There are static characters(characters that don't change) and dynamic characters(characters that change internally)
Some stories in this genre are based on superstition(ghosts, bad luck, etc.)
