This genre is a story made up out of the writers head. It could happen in real life.

What are the characteristics of this genre? It consists of realistic problems. The characters are realistic and easy to relate to. The characters actions seem realistic. The story has a problem, a climax, and a solution. This story is modern and seems like it could happen in this time period.
